Karen’s extensive repertoire covers over 2,000 songs and includes 1950s Jazz, songs of the Sixties and Motown, 70’s & 80’s Disco, 90’s and 00’s Pop and Soft Rock, current Pop (bang up to date including covers of songs by Lewis Capaldi, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5, Billie Eilish and others), R&B, Soul and a selection of popular Musical Theatre tunes.

Karen has a powerful, deep and naturally husky voice that is extremely versatile and enables her to sing across multiple genres with ease & authenticity.

As an experienced vocal coach, teaching other singers how to develop, protect and preserve their voices, Karen has the skills and ability to perform musical events lasting several hours, without vocal fatigue.

Although most of Karen’s Repertoire is in English, Karen also sings several songs in other languages, including Mandarin, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek and Portuguese.

Regardless of the audience demographic, Karen’s repertoire is large enough to cover all musical tastes, and Karen carefully selects the musical programme for each event, to perfectly suit the occasion and the guest list.

For client weddings, Karen will learn a modest selection of new songs if necessary, including the Bride and Groom’s preference for their first wedding dance, together with any other songs special to the couple, or favoured by the bride or groom’s parents.

Karen will always prepare well in advance and attend one meeting with the client, free of charge, to enable the client see that their entertainment is in experienced and capable hands, and to ensure, through discussion with the client, that the music chosen is perfect for their occasion.

On the rare occasions Karen is requested to provide copies of lyrics to songs – for example this request is sometimes made by a Bride and Groom or their parents, Karen is able to provide the client with an organised catalogue of the lyrics to every song in her repertoire, which are kept updated.

Where a song is favoured by a client but a few of the lyrics cause sensitivity, Karen, as an experienced songwriter, can quickly adjust lyrics to ensure that the song can still be performed for the client.

In addition to her vast repertoire of songs covering all genres, Karen also performs shows celebrating the work of specific artists. These shows can contain music only, or may be expanded to contain cinema style footage on a screen behind the band, narrative provided by Karen or one of her band members, and intermittent live performance of the most popular songs of the artist being featured.

Some tribute shows are already prepared and detailed below; other tribute shows featuring the client’s preferred artists can be prepared subject to enough advance notice being available for preparation and client budget.
